18th January, 2006 - 6:53 pm - posted in ticon

* * *

想到這裡, shania twain 便唱出 1997 年的舊曲, you're still the one (.wav)。

They said, "I bet they'll never make it"
But just look at us holding on
We're still together still going strong . . .

And it's going ever so strong。

"don't carry the world upon your shoulders" . . .

Dear all,

Please accept my appreciation of your contribution in Mr. R. Cheng's Wedding Choir.

As you might know, DBS and DGS alumni will compete, as the Diocesan University Chorale, in the Open Class of this year's Music Festival.

According to the Regulations, participating choirs of the Open Class must be formed by groups of full-time students of age 23 or under.

I am aware that you would be the ones who are eligible (please notify me if you are not), therefore, you are very much welcome to join the Chorale.

We shall sing two songs, Cantique de Jean Racine and Oh Forest the Green Ocean(森林啊!

Since we Diocesans being so accomplished, it is understandable that we all have tight schedules; hence, only 3 rehearsals will be held beforehand.

And indeed, it would be most desirable if you could indicate whether you prefer to rehearse on weekday or weekend evenings, to determine most appropriate rehearsal times.

Please spread the news and let those interested know about the Chorale.

Announcements on the Chorale are posted on http://www.xanga.com/Diocesan_Choral_Society.

You could also call me at 6200-9054 or e-mail me.

R.S.V.P.

In Diocesan music,

Samuel Siu
