i love CC. i use it. i blog about it. i read lessig's books. i bought cc stickers. i participated in the CC schwag contest. i subscribed to the cc-hk mailing list. and i soon labelled myself as a "hong kong fan of CC".

for work reasons, however, i missed out the first CC meeting in hong kong... and this time i couldn't contribute to this CC workshop, the first of its kind in hong kong! there's in fact a lot i'd like to share, so perhaps next time...=(

just when i thought i'd just sit there with a CC shirt, and support the event merely by showing up, one of the organizers, Ben, came over and asked if i could take some photos for the event! heheee :) i immediately handed him a moo card :)

met a new friend, rob, a CC devotee, now a hku law masters student who graduated from harvard. he's working with alice lee (my oxford moot coach and professor back in law school) and the rest of the legal team to localise CC for hong kong. woot!

had a nice chat with rob, alice, jacky and some random people during the break. we talked about moo cards, startup schwag, flickr API, facebook, and where i got my CC shirt. 直情食住我個飯!!! =D =D

it surprised me that the girl who sat next to me knew nothing about the creative commons. she came on her own initiative, not because her university teachers told her to. the organizers should be happy :) and i'm sure the workshop did not disappoint her, thanks to the hard work of the organizing team =)

and if you do the multiplication, that's a total of 54 human years (yes, but he's still as cute as ever)!!! i made him a birthday hat from a red plastic plate and tied it round his neck using some rubber band leftover from the Central Rat Race. i also bought him a McMug cushion as birthday pressie (which he's yet to appreciate)...
